We are pleased to announce the appointment of Casey Macaulay as our new General Manager.
Casey’s connection to our community forest dates back to its inception, when he was among the visionaries who began the application process 21 years ago. Since then, he has gained extensive knowledge and experience across many areas of the forest industry. Now, he returns to his roots with fresh ideas that align perfectly with our community forest’s strategic plan.
A key part of Casey’s mandate will be to expand and diversify the economic benefits of our operations while maintaining the financial contributions that residents of Wells Gray Country are accustomed to.
Considering the current economic challenges facing the forest industry, we believe it is essential to seek new opportunities and partnerships to ensure the Wells Gray Community Forest continues to provide lasting benefits for its stakeholders. We are confident Casey has the skills and experience to lead this effort.
